Biggest Fork in the Road

At 10:26 a.m. CDT, we arrived at our first major photo op: the giant fork in the road! It glinted a little unrealistically in the hot sun, as though the tines might turn into vapor and drift away. Katherine jogged a little in a half-hearted attempt to get some steps in, while Chris took the official documentary photos.

The “Biggest Fork in the Road” was assembled by the Franklin-Simpson High School welding class, with teacher Jeremy Loveall overseeing construction.
