This sandwich was quite full of delicious corned beef! I always love Thousand Island served on the side so that I can dip my sandwich into it as I like. The sauerkraut tasted good--it was in larger chunks. The bread was thick and flavorful--it was grilled enough that it was firm but still soft. The dining room was busy this day for lunch. The dining area is kind of like a market with shelves lining the walls full of groceries. The staff brought the sandwiches out to us at our tables promptly. I would definitely come back for such a delicious offering.

This establishment is rather on the run-down side: the chairs don't match, and the floor and tabletops are scuffed with heavy use. It wasn't too busy when we arrived at 11:30am, but by noon business had picked up considerably, which is always a good sign. The '50s music playing was a nice atmospheric touch. We ordered at the counter and our sandwiches were brought to our table as they were finished. There was some confusion over whether or not chips were included with the sandwich: eventually we decided we were supposed to grab one small bag of Lay's chips from a bin on the way to the table. Plates and cup were foam. The dressing came in a plastic cup on the side, next to the pickle spear. The sandwich was of good size, with plenty of meat that had a nice texture to it. The marbled rye bread was nicely but not overly crisp. Overall, this place is all about the food, and provided a good meal for the price.

My Reuben didn't have cheese in it. Besides that, it was a good tasting sandwich.

I loved the mabled rye bread. The seemed to be a good balance of meat, cheese, kraut, with the dressing on the side. The bread was lightly toasted which I wish more places would do. A very fine sandwich.

The Reuben arrived very quickly, though we lost back some of that time playing "where's the cheese?" Still, the Reuben was very good.

A great value for the Reuben; generous portion of meat; fun atmosphere with 50s music & paraphernalia; messy, but good.
