Half of this restaurant is the bakery section, and the other half has seating at small round tables with a white stone tile floor. The bread was overtoasted and masked some of the other flavors. There was a lot of sauce, which was just right. I thought the meat was a little bland.

The sandwich wasn't soggy, and I loved the bread. I couldn't taste the meat, though. The sandwich would have had a lower grade on taste if it weren't for the good bread. The restaurant was pleasant--I felt like the dining room had a courtyard feel, and I loved the spare furnishings.

There was a burnt toast aftertaste, and less toasty would have been perfect. There was a great amount of 1000 island and cheese.

The atmosphere is a little lattice-crazy. The fluorescent lighting gives it a spartan, hospital feel; but it had a hometown feel that you can't capture in a big city. The toasting masked the flavor of the homemade bread. The corned beef tasted fresh and the sauce was tangy, tasty, and abundant.
