No one goes to the Southshore Cafe except for people from the local senior citizens homes. That's why I like it. It's quiet and small and the place has its regulars. There is only one waitress and she knows when to leave you alone and let you eat. The Reuben sandwich was good. The rye bread was too buttery for me though. The corned beef was really good and tender. There could have been more sauerkraut. The fries that came with the sandwich were good and crispy.
