COSI - Center Of Science and Industry
Columbus, Ohio
May 28, 2017
We drove to COSI, the Center of Science and Industry, a museum in downtown Columbus, Ohio. They are working to build a new parking garage in front of the building, so we had to walk quite a ways to get to the entrance.
Near the picnic area out front, there was a nice insect that was accepting riders.
Krystal climbed on the big butterfly and flower sculpture.
Our first destination in the museum was the children's play area, and Krystal had a good time at the water area.
Krystal milked the cow and rode it.
Dr. Krystal checks the baby's heartbeat.
Librarian Krystal conducted a storytime for us.
We stopped for lunch at the Atomic Cafe located in the museum, which was very busy and hectic. We found a nice table outside that we all squeezed into.
In the outdoor science area, Krystal and Papa helped to lift a Honda car by using a lever, and played with this giant marble sphere. Amber beat Andrew at an outdoor game of giant checkers.
Krystal's favorite part of the Ocean exhibit was shoveling sand and watching the water run past it.
Chris imitates Poseidon.
Nana got Krystal a Tyrannosaurus Rex from the gift shop before we left the museum.
