On Saturday, October 14, Chris and Katherine went to church services in Charlotte, at the Charlotte Friends Meeting hall
. Chris gave the sermon "Keep Your Word." They then went to church services with the Hickory congregation, meeting at the Buffalo Shoals Community Center. Chris gave the sermon "Who Can Stand in God's Presence?"

They went to dinner with Dan, Kim, Andy and Aaron Preston at the Taco & Tequila Mexican Restaurant in Lincolnton, North Carolina. Chris had the Fajita Salad and Katherine had the Arrozz con Pollo.
