Lodging in Columbia

We drove to our vacation rental which was just off of Chapel Hill Road in Columbia, Missouri, not far from the Twin Lakes Recreation Area.

We had full access to the basement through a sliding door under a deck that was next to the garage. It was very convenient to just park in the driveway, walk down the stairs under their deck and go in. There was a lot of room in the living room and entryway, and there were two bedroom-sized rooms: one for the bed with a large walk-in closet, and another that was set up as a workout room.

The kitchen was a little small, but had a hot plate and toaster oven--no microwave oven or stove. But the full-sized refrigerator was nice and we made it work very nicely.
