The Labyrinth
New Harmony, IN
Jul 21, 2019
We left our home about 11 a.m. on Sunday, July 21, 2019. We stopped at Jungle Jim's International Market to get some last-minute food supplies for the trip. From Cincinnati, we headed south on Interstate 71 and then at Louisville we took Interstate 64 west across southern Indiana.
We made a brief stop at the Taco Bell in Corydon for a snack, and then continued on to New Harmony, Indiana.
In New Harmony, we drove to the Harmonist Labyrinth on the south side of town. We had visited here before on our first anniversary trip in 1996, so since this was our 24th anniversary trip, we thought it was worth re-visiting.
The labyrinth was a little overgrown, and working our ways through the bushes was somewhat of a challenge. But it was pretty and an enjoyable stop to stretch our legs on this hot summer day.
After our brief visit to the Labyrinth, we made a short stop at Firehouse Antiques in New Harmony, which did not have a lot of merchandise, and what they did have seemed quite overpriced.
