Meeting Phoebe

On Monday morning, we drove to Charlottesville, Virginia, directly to the University of Virginia Medical Center, to see Katherine's friend Jordan, her husband, Matt, and their one-day-old daughter, Phoebe.

We drove into the parking garage across the street from the medical facility, and I think we might have found the very last spot that was not occupied.

On our way out of the parking garage, we were quite fortunate, because after the car two positions ahead of us paid their parking fee, the parking attendant propped the exit gate open and left, meaning that everyone else in line was able to exit for free.
