The corned beef was in thick chewy slices that had a somewhat "over-processed" quality. I liked that they served the thousand island on the side (as I prefer), and the sauerkraut was good. The Swiss cheese did a good job to line the sandwich against the bread. The dining room was busy and very noisy. The service, however, was quick and friendly. I thought the amount of chips that they put on the side was somewhat excessive--it was at least twice the number I've gotten at other restaurants. It was kind of hard to finish them all. I thought the sandwich was rather average, but the place definitely has speed and friendliness going for it (separate checks and all). It definitely seemed like a good place to stop for lunch. I didn't detect any smoke in our seating section and overall it was a pleasant experience.

Well marked, easy to find, and the parking wasn't bad since I got a place practically in front of the door. Noisy Sports Bar atmosphere made conversation a little difficult. An Indy type race car hung upside down in one corner over arcade games. Didn't look inviting to play under. Seating seemed a bit cramped. Service was fairly quick and the Reuben arrived within about ten minutes. The sandwich looked good on delivery and the plate was heaped with ripple chips, the dressing was on the side and... wait... where's the pickle? Sometimes the best part of these luncheons is the pickle. The sandwich was on a firm marble rye. The dressing tasted like it was prepared on site and the first bite had a good flavor. All the parts of the Reuben's flavor were there. After that, the meat seemed to slip around under the bread since the cheese was completely melted. I'm not sure if the cheese was originally a slice, a spread, or hot goo poured onto the bread. The texture of the meat was stiff and the slices were thick and uniform in appearance, not like a quality deli sliced corned beef. It gave me the impression that it had just been peeled from a vacuum sealed wrapper that you would purchase lunch meat in from Marsh. The taste wasn't bad, it just lacked... pizzazz. Oh yeah, I had to drink water again since they didn't have raspberry tea or fresh lemonade. Oh well, it's a sports bar.

The thing that stood out most was that the non-smoking section was fairly smoky. That, and there was no pickle. The sandwich itself was somewhat above average, but not great. There was plenty of food to eat due to the quantity of chips they provided. If you're trying to limit your chip consumption, this probably isn't the place for you.

Being one of the first ones here, the hostess was very accommodating. I've been here before, and this is a busy place. They arranged the tables and got our beverage orders immediately. It's a sports bar atmosphere, so it is a bit smoky and noisy. As the rest of the crew arrived, the waitress collected the orders and wasn't fazed a bit that we all ordered Reubens. My order came up quickly, toasty hot, and was put together nicely. The entire sandwich was grilled and piping hot. The bread was good, Swiss cheese was melted into the bread, the sauerkraut was tangy, the meat was sort of a lunch meat affair, but it was grilled up, and tasted ok. Dressing was on the side and good. I ordered fries over the standard chips, and they were fresh and ok. Overall, it was a good lunch and kept me going the rest of the day.

Very good sauce, bad meat. Maybe the relationship between the high quality sauce and low end meat is not coincidental. Where was the pickle? Is it not the law to provide a pickle spear with a sandwich meal? If not it should be. Not a bad place but not a good Reuben.

This place had a nice atmosphere, and would be great to come to for a meeting or a quiet lunch. The reuben came with no extras - I consider potato chips to be packing material that restaurants use when the plate would look too empty with just the sandwich.

I had the turkey Reuben and it was good but not spectacular. The Reuben came with potato chips on the side, but there were so many chips that it appeared the Reuben and the chips were competing for attention. Serving fewer potato chips would enhance the meal. The service was excellent--very quick--especially considering our group size.
