Katy Trail - McBaine to Rocheport

On Wednesday morning, we drove our bikes over to the Katy Trail parking lot in McBaine, Missouri, to begin our trip. We took the trail northwest toward Rocheport.
The trail passes several of the places visited by Lewis and Clark on their expedition, including a place where they had camped.
After Rocheport, the trail was closed due to some recent flooding. So we hopped over the sandbags protecting the town and had lunch at Meriwether Cafe and Bike Shop. You can see our review of the Cafe if you are interested.
On our journey back to McBaine, we stopped briefly at a little shelter that had been built along the railway under the bluffs next to the current trail.
