Another Holland and Sara the Camel

As we followed PTH #2 from Saint Claude towards Glenboro, we were delighted to discover another Holland and another big windmill in the middle of nowhere. We enjoyed the chance to stretch our legs and then jumped back in the car, bent on finding our next destination: Sara the Camel.



Find her we did. Sara is known as Glenboro’s “most obvious attraction,” according to our sources, and she’s almost as old as Katherine (that would be 31, for those of you playing along at home). She represents Manitoba’s only desert, the Spirit Sands (or Manitoba Desert) located in nearby Spruce Woods Provincial Park.
