Tuscan Grille and Travelers Motel
Manistee, MI to Onekama, MI
Jun 22, 2008
The town of Manistee had the most beautiful flowers lining the curbs for block after block of US-31 traveling through town. We stopped at the Tuscan Grille for dinner.
The Tuscan Grille was lovely, dim, and quiet inside, but it did continue the “do it yourself” theme of Michigan by asking us to seat ourselves. Everyone but Andy (who asked for penne with marinara) ordered fettuccine alfredo, which was delicious. The waitress was perky and the food filling.
Our home for the evening was the Travelers Motel in Onekama, MI. It was small and somewhat homey, but charmingly decorated inside—including even a lighthouse-shaped light!
