The giant frog at Shenandoah Caverns appeared to be a former parade float. It was kind of interesting, but it didn't really hold any sentimental value to us, even though it was decked out in some pretty unusual duds. I'm sure there was some story behind his pitchfork and cowboy hat, but it was lost on us.
It was great to get right up close to the giant frog, it was a little bit of a hike up a hill from the parking area, but nothing too arduous.
